INTEGRATED LEARNING

The highly ranked integrated learning activities are designed to encourage interaction between the educational program and the technical exhibits. Opportunities are provided for personal interaction and networking between attendees and exhibitors. This knowledge exchange creates an enhanced level of understanding of imaging informatics to healthcare delivery.

Applied Learning Vendor Tie-in Sessions

An innovative addition to the educational sessions – vendor tie-in sessions – allows for sharing of corporate vision in context with the educational material. Four Learning Tracks will include the vendor tie-in component at SIIM 2012. These sessions include panel discussions and Q&As with leading vendors and practitioners in the field of imaging informatics.

Shared Learning Community in the Exhibit Hall

The Shared Learning Community will highlight one of the cornerstones of the SIIM experience: personal interaction and networking opportunities between thought leaders, attendees, and vendors. Bring your ideas and join in the discussions. Bring your questions and receive answers.

Roundtables Discussions

Bring your voice to the table! Join in the discussion on special interest topics, and network with colleagues, experts, and vendors.

CIIP Study Groups

Are you planning to take the ABII CIIP examination within the next year? If so, the CIIP study groups are exactly what you need. Join other IIPs to exchange knowledge and find out how others are studying for the IIP Certification exam.

Scientific Posters & Demonstrations

Attendees will have the opportunity to browse through the scientific posters and demonstrations throughout the meeting while in the exhibit hall. "Roving" scientific poster and demonstration tours will also be scheduled with presenters on hand for discussions and to answer questions, all taking place during the exhibit hall hours.
