This learning lab will focus on laying the groundwork for people to create their own graphical dashboarding websites. The session will cover how to extract data from clinical systems, load that data into a database, and display that data in a graphical presentation on a website. We will illustrate powerful open source tools one can use to accomplish these tasks.
Objectives:
- Describe how to extract data from RIS and PACS.
- Discover open source software that can be used for dashboards and data mining.
- Discuss potential security issues that may arise.
- Describe how to build graphical and web reports.
